Bymoss Pure Conversion is the only offering in Europe that transforms a BMW R Series (R45, R65, R75, R80) into a road-legal electric motorcycle while retaining the original gearbox, factory frame, and authentic riding sensations of the machine. Based in Lyon, the Bymoss workshop handcrafts each conversion, featuring a 72V motorization and a 100 km range.
What distinguishes the Pure Conversion from all other solutions on the market: the complete retention of the original transmission. Where most retrofits remove the gearbox to simplify installation, Bymoss chooses to keep it — because it is precisely this gearbox that gives the BMW R Series its unique character. The electric motor is calibrated to operate within the original RPM ranges, providing the same progressive response and mechanical engagement as the internal combustion version.
