BMW Electric Conversion
How much does an electric conversion for a BMW R Series cost at Bymoss?
The Pure Conversion starts from €9,990 Incl. Tax (excluding the motorcycle). The E-Revival starts from €14,990 Incl. Tax. Financing from €290/month with no down payment.
What is the range of a Bymoss electric motorcycle?
80 to 100 km (50 to 62 miles) in urban use with our 5.2 kWh battery. Full charge in 3 hours.
Is the conversion legal and approved in France?
Yes. CNRV approved. The motorcycle retains its registration document and can be legally driven.
Which BMW models can be converted?
R45, R50, R60, R65, R75, R80, and R100 — from 1969 to 1995 (air-cooled).
What is the conversion time?
10 weeks from validation. Delivery or hand-delivery in Lyon.
What is the warranty period?
1 year on conversion. Battery guaranteed for 1,600 cycles (7 to 10 years of normal use).
Is a special permit required?
No. Your A license (or A2) is sufficient. No additional training required.
Is there an environmental bonus for motorcycle retrofitting?
Yes, under certain conditions depending on your department. We assist our clients with the procedures.
Accessories & Services
Can the original gearbox be retained?
Yes. The gearbox, bevel gear and shaft drive are retained. Authentic BMW riding experience with the added instant electric torque.
What are the performances?
72V / 20 kW peak, 72 Nm of instant torque, max speed 7,500 rpm.
What accessories do you recommend after a conversion?
Motogadget m.Scope speedometer, Rebelmoto or moswitch handlebar switches, Rebelmoto triple trees. Available in our E-shop.
Does Bymoss offer a free trial?
Yes. Free trial in Lyon, Monday–Friday 10am–5pm, by appointment.
What other services do you offer?
Motorcycle concierge services, secure storage in Lyon, BMW R Series sourcing. By appointment.
How does the refurbishment before conversion work?
Complete mechanical assessment. Gearbox 650€, bevel gear and braking on estimate.

Can I buy a Bymoss motorcycle from Belgium?
Yes. Our French CNRV approval is valid in Belgium. We will assist you with the local administrative procedures — included in your purchase.
Can I buy from Spain?
Yes. Our French **CNRV** approval is valid in Spain. We will assist you with all necessary administrative procedures.
Can I buy from Germany?
Yes. Our French CNRV approval is valid in Germany. We will assist you with all necessary administrative procedures.
What about from Italy, Denmark, Greece, Luxembourg, or the Netherlands?
Yes, under certain conditions. Contact us for personalized support tailored to your country.
Is homologation included in the price?
Yes. CNRV France homologation is included in all our prices. Bymoss is the only operator offering a turnkey BMW R-Series conversion approved in France.
