Bymoss.bike was born from a passion for classic motorcycles and a desire to respond to current environmental issues.
Founded in 2020 by Mostefa ABDOU, Bymoss' mission is to preserve the mechanical heritage while bringing it into the era of electromobility. The adventure began with the retrofit of a BMW R100 RT, an iconic motorcycle from the 1980s, transformed into an electric version. This first project marked the beginning of an expertise in the retrofit of classic motorcycles.

As part of our commitment to combining tradition and innovation, Bymoss has partnered with Luuc Muis, founder of LM Creations, a design and engineering expert specialising in electric conversions.
Together, we have worked to create retrofit solutions that not only respect the original design of classic motorcycles, but also integrate cutting-edge technologies to improve electrical performance. This partnership has resulted in the creation of an electrical retrofit system approved for our roads, respecting European safety standards.
Approval for road use
One of the major challenges of our approach was to make our retrofitted motorcycles comply with legal standards for road use.
Bymoss has invested time and resources in homologating the electrical retrofit system so that the converted motorcycles can be used safely and in compliance with current standards.
This rigorous process ensures that each vehicle meets performance, safety, and environmental impact requirements, while maintaining the authenticity and soul of the original motorcycles.
