The mo.lock NFC is a contactless digital ignition lock that replaces mechanical ignition locks and their electrical switching function. The key, without battery, activates or deactivates the contactless ignition when it approaches the mo.lock within a switching distance of 40 mm.
The mo.lock NFC is based on Near-Field-Communication (NFC) technology, which makes it tamper-proof, unlike radio remote controls. Each key is unique thanks to its digital code, and only the corresponding key can activate the mo.lock. Neither the key nor the mo.lock wear out mechanically. The mo.lock controls a vehicle relay supporting up to 40A, sufficient for any electrical system.
The discreet installation of the small mo.lock behind non-metallic parts, such as a plastic cover, allows the mechanical ignition lock to be completely eliminated, ensuring a clean design and great creative freedom – ideal for custom motorcycles.
The two supplied keys are key fob sized and can be used to check the on-board voltage or add new keys. A maximum of 125 keys can be programmed to a mo.lock NFC. Additional keys are available for purchase.
The LED on the front panel indicates the switching status with different colours. To preserve the vehicle battery, the idle current is only 3.2 mA when switched off, then decreases to 1.5 mA after 16 hours and to 0.75 mA after another 8 days.
Note: We do not recommend using the mo.lock with an immobilizer system.
