Description

Technical Description:
The mo.NFC is a keyless ignition system developed by Motogadget, using NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.
By replacing the traditional mechanical ignition switch, it allows the motorcycle to be started simply by bringing an NFC card or key close to the receiver.

Combined with the mo.unit blue control unit, it enhances security and adds a modern and elegant touch to any Café Racer, Scrambler or Bymoss Electric Retrofit project.

Main Features:

  • Keyless start via NFC tag or card

  • Compatible with mo.unit blue

  • Detection range: 20–40 mm

  • IP65 waterproof receiver

  • Discreet and secure installation

  • Encrypted authentication system

  • Power supply: 6–18 V

  • Made in Germany 🇩🇪

The discrete installation of the small mo.lock behind non-metallic parts, such as a plastic cover, completely eliminates the mechanical ignition lock, ensuring a clean design and great creative freedom – ideal for custom motorcycles.

The two keys provided are key fob sized and allow control of the on-board voltage or the addition of new keys. A maximum of 125 keys can be programmed on a mo.lock NFC. Additional keys are available for purchase.

The front LED indicates the switching status with different colors. To preserve the vehicle battery, the quiescent current is only 3.2 mA when switched off, then decreases to 1.5 mA after 16 hours and to 0.75 mA after an additional 8 days.

Note: We do not recommend using the mo.lock with an immobilizer system.
