The motoscope tiny is an ultra-compact analogue speedometer in 49 mm format. It measures the speed digitally and displays it precisely via a stepper motor and a needle. With a mounting diameter of 49 mm and an installation depth of only 24 mm, it offers numerous installation possibilities. Its dial, without cutouts or LCD display, has a classic and minimalist style, perfect for purists.
Housing
The high-quality aluminum housing is machined from a solid block and anodized in black. The mounting circle is available in black anodized finish or highly polished finish. The housing is completely waterproof and vibration resistant.
Display
The analogue dial in contrasting black and white is indirectly illuminated by white LEDs. Behind the black part of the dial is an innovative LED display that is only visible when the meter is switched on.
For optimum readability in all conditions (darkness, sun, twilight), the brightness of the LEDs is automatically adjusted. If the speed exceeds 200 km/h on the analogue scale, it is automatically displayed on the LED display. The maximum speed is also recorded. Four indicator lights (blue, red, 2 x green) are integrated into the dial and only become visible during operation.
Use
The menu button provided, or for example the indicator button on the handlebar, is used to switch between the different displays. By default, the display shows the time, and values such as total mileage, daily kilometers or blood pressure can be displayed via a short press.
All functions, such as resetting the trip meter, are easy to use. Presets and saved values remain saved even without power.
Assembly
The motoscope tiny is easy to install thanks to the two M3 threaded sockets located on the back. Various mounting brackets are available.
Connection and sensors
Detailed assembly and operating instructions make installation accessible even for those new to vehicle electrics.
The supplied stainless steel speed sensor is small (M5/23 mm) and easy to conceal. With its 1.5 m connection cable, it can be mounted on the front or rear wheel. Vehicles with a mechanical speedometer can be easily converted. The motoscope tiny is compatible with many original speed sensors (reed contact and proximity sensors). In this case, the connections only need to be plugged in, making the mechanical installation of a sensor superfluous.
